Ashley Bautista is a Partner with Paladin Principle, a public affairs firm, located in Ventura. With a background in community education and marketing, Ashley joined the Paladin team with a focus on developing organizational and marketing goals for the Gold Coast Hispanic Business Council and the World Affairs Council as the Executive Director of both organizations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Political Science from the University of San Diego and her Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from California Lutheran University.

In 2007, Ashley worked for the City of Santa Barbara’s Planning Department as an Outreach Coordinator for “Plan Santa Barbara,” a marketing effort for the city’s general plan update. Ashley coordinated grassroots community outreach and developed a youth interface strategy. From 2005 to 2006, Ashley worked for the City of Ventura’s Civic Engagement Division as a Marketing Specialist. She planned and implemented a wide variety of marketing, public relations and community outreach projects. She also hosted a public television program showcasing city offerings and produced a city news section of a quarterly community magazine.

Ashley is passionate about giving back to the community and currently sits on the Board of the United Way Young Leaders Society where she is the Chair of the Advocacy Committee. She also sits on the Board of California Lutheran University’s Economic Forecast Center and on the Advisory Council for the Channel Islands High School Multimedia and Business Academy and the Oxnard Adult School. 

She was recently featured in the Pacific Coast Business Times July 2010 Issue "Who's Who in Civic Leadership".  In September 2010, she was nominated and selected by the Pacific Coast Business times for the "40 Under 40" award honoring the next crop of 40 up-and-coming businessmen and women under the age of 40, from San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
